How to get to Kéki Baug

Just a 6km drive from Neral station lies your perfect getaway. Its close proximity to Mumbai and Pune makes it just a two hours drive from your chaotic city.

With the old Mumbai-Pune highway renovated, it’s a smooth and scenic drive all the way only to be stopped by the heard of grazing sheep and cattle.

If you’re the one who prefers our famous trains, then the Karjat / Khapoli local gets you here in just 1 hour 45 minutes from Dadar.

Also with the new proposed Panvel-Neral-Bhimashankar-Pune road driving time is expected to be reduced yet by another 30 minutes.

Another development is the upcoming harbor line extension from Panvel, the tracks of which have already been laid right upto Karjat which is just 13 km from Neral, around 12 minutes by train.

The new international airport coming at Panvel will be just a 40 minutes drive away from Kéki Baug.

On your way from Mumbai / Thane / Vashi:

• Take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway starting at McDonalds at Kalamboli.
• Just 8 km into the expressway take the first exit for Khapoli / Shedung on your left.
• Cross the Toll Plaza for Expressway and continue further to reach the Old Mumbai-Pune highway (NH4).
• 1 km into the old highway you will cross the toll plaza for NH4.
• 16 km down NH4 you will arrive at Chowk-Karjat phata with an overhead sign board indicating left for Matheran/ Karjat. Turn left off the highway towards Karjat.

On your way from Pune / Lonavala / Khapoli:

• Take the Mumbai-Pune expressway.
• Continue until you reach the exit for Khapoli.
• Exit from the Khapoli exit and join the Old Mumbai-Pune highway (NH4) and continue towards Mumbai untill you reach Chowk-Karjat Phata.
• Turn right towards Karjat.

Common way:

• Drive 8 km down the road from Chowk Phata to reach a cross-road, from which you turn left towards Neral/ Matheran.
• On your way you will cross Dr. Modi ’s resort and Dignity Foundation. 13 km into the road you will cross the mini-tracks for the matheran toy train with an HP petrol pump alongside it.
• Continue further avoiding the left to Matheran and further avoiding the left to Kalyan.
• Continue till you reach the Neral market then turn right and continue further until you cross both the railway crossings for the matheran train and the Mumbai-Pune main line.
• On your way you will cross the bridge over Ullhas River.
• Turn right at the sign board reading "Way to Kéki Baug".
